The best of the East coast

Traveling in Sri Lanka

The best season to travel to the East Coast is between May and September, when the Southwest monsoon is active. Enjoy you stay at one of the most beautiful beaches with clear waters of the turquoise sea.

If you fancy whale watching you have a chance to do that in Trincomalee. The biggest chance to see a blue whale

is during the months May and June

Although the Southwest monsoon is active between May and September, it is still very nice to spend some time at the south part of Sri lanka. This season can give short heavy showers and after the rain you will get a clear blue sky with sunshine again. Note that in this season the sea is rough and windy. It is dangerous to swim in the sea.

During this tour you will stay at small Beach accommodations.

You will be traveling in a comfortable car or van with our local driver who will also be your personal tour guide. This gives you the opportunity to learn a lot about Sri Lanka and the culture. If you do not want to visit all the listed landmarks, no worries, just inform our driver. We can customize these places and you can shorten or extend your trip. Let us know your expectation so that we can plan the perfect adventure for you!
