Our driver/guide will be welcoming you upon arrival at the airport or pre requested location and bring you to your first overnight stay at the beach in Negombo. Here you can relax while the children jump in the pool.
Negombo, is a perfect place to explore the Srilankan culture and meet the local friendly people. You can expend and enjoy your time at the golden sandy beaches. Close to the ancient Fort you will find the big fish market right on the beach. A great way to observe the local fishing trade and to see the amazing variety of seafood.
The next morning we will take you on a boat trip through the Dutch canal and into the mangroves.

Adventurous boat tour!
Today we will take you to Sigiriya during a 4 hours drive. Our driver who is also your local guide, knows all the secrets of Sri Lanka and will share many with you. Along the way, he will stop and show your special places where you can take beautiful pictures while stretching your legs. After checking into your hotel in Sigiriya, you can relax and have a swim.
At the end of the day you can do a nice village tour to see the surroundings of Sigiriya. Learn more about the history of this city and climb the magnificent rock fortress (a Unesco listed heritage site) of almost 200 metres (660 ft.) high. Half way you can see the world famous frescoes. On the top of the rock you will be amazed by the stunning view.
Next day you can do an adventurous jeep Safari at the Minneriya National Park. Here you can witness the most spectacular event in the park, known as the “Gathering”. Hundreds of wild elephants are attracted by the Minneriya watertank and see loads of wild elephants socialize, bath and drink. This park is a real paradise with many natural wonders.

On the way to Kandy you can visit the The Dambulla cave temple, the largest and best-preserved Cave Temple in Sri Lanka.
After a climb uphil, where you will be accompanied by monkeys, you will arrive at the caves. Admire the beautiful wall drawings and statues and of Buddha spread over five caves.
Walking in Kandy being surrounded by mountains is just magical. Stroll through the city and buy your fruit on the market.
Visit the 17th- century Temple of the Tooth, The Sri Salada Maligawa, which is located in the royal palace complex of the ancient Kingdom of Kandy on the bank of the Kandy Lake. The sacred tooth is believed to be from Lord Buddha himself.
Walking in the Royal Botanical Gardens of Peradeniya is a must do and children love it! This garden dates back over two centuries. Walk through te avenue of royal palms and admire the huge fig trees with roots radiating out in all directions.
If you wish you can enjoy an afternoon visiting the popular traditional Kandyan Dance performance. A unique performance with drum beats and movements showcasing the culture of the mountain people of Kandy and the earlier Kandyan kingdom.

Ready for an exciting water adventure? Kithulgala is the place to go canyoning, kayaking, white water kayaking or rafting in the Kelani River. If you prefer an activity on land you can go mountain biking or go hiking with a guide in the amazing jungle surroundings.
There are fun activities that can be done starting from the age of 4. These activities you can do with the family such as canyoning, kayaking on flat water, hiking and mountain biking through the jungle with a guide. However, white water rafting and white kayaking starts at the age of 11.
There are internationally trained guides and all activities and equipment meet the highest international safety standards to ensure all guests are always safe on the river. You will sleep as a family in a river view cabin or in river view (double bed) tents.
During your stay your can choose from two activities and all meals, coffee and tea are included in your stay.

After your water adventure, It is time to go to the green highlands. Nuwara Eliya is situated at an altitude of 1868 meters and surrounded by tea plantations. It is one of the most important locations for the production of tea in Sri Lanka.
Along the way you can visit s tea plantation where you can learn how to pluck tea leaves. After that you can get tour in a tea factory where you can see how the tea leaves are processed into tea.
Tip: Do not forget to bring some warm clothes as in the mountainous regions the temperature is
about 10° C cooler than on the coast.

Discover the secrets of Ella, a town located high in the mountains surrounded by hills covered with cloud forests and tea plantations.
Ella has a refreshingly cool climate ideal for scenic walks. For a challenging hike you can climb “little Adam’s Peak”. This hike will take about two hours to reach the top of the mountain. If you wish, you can visit the Rawana Waterfall and see the 9 Arch Bridge, one of the iconic bridges in Sri Lanka.

Time to get up early in the morning to leave the highlands and drive towards Yala. After 1.5 hours drive, you can visit the off the beaten path, the ancient Buddhist Buduruwagala Temple. Admire the seven giant Buddhist statues from the 10th century.

On your way to Unawatuna you can visit the a "honest" Elephant Orphanage called the Elephant Transit Home. Young orphans are taken care of and will get the medical care they need. after a several years when they are strong enough they will gradually be released in the wilderness of the Uda Walawe National Park.
Unawatuna has a wonderful "laid back" atmosphere and is known for its beautiful coastline surrounded by clear blue waters. A tuk tuk can take you to "White Jungle Beach"'where after a walk through the jungle you will find yourself on a piece of paradise. "The place to be" in Unawatuna is Wijaya Beach, here you can enjoy lunch and the beach.
In the afternoon, when it is not so hot is it is very nice to visit the Dutch Fort in Galle. Walking around the fortress on the ramparts and in the quiet streets. Taste the atmosphere of history and visit the little boutique shops.
Back in Unawatuna can you relax and enjoy the delicious food at a restaurant while you watch the sun go down.
